Online Registration Process

This article is for Online Champions to understand the different ways a customer can register for online ordering. Some customers will register themselves, and others will want the Online Champion to register them on their behalf. Account Managers may also ask the Online Champion to register a customer for online.


Here are the standard ways to get a customer setup for online ordering depending on the situation.


Online Champion registers a customer on their behalf:

  1. Online Champion completes the Online User Access Form found here: https://forms.lwc.co.uk/onlineuseraccess which gets sent to Web Support.
  2. Web Support completes setup of the online account.

 

Customer registers themselves for online ordering AND is a simple account (i.e. only one delivery point):

  1. Customer clicks “Register” on the login page (https://shop.lwc.co.uk)
  2. Customer fills in registration form which gets sent to Web Support.
  3. Web Support completes setup of the online account.

 

Customer registers themselves for online ordering AND is a complex account (i.e. multiple delivery points/users):

  1. Customer clicks “Register” on the login page (https://shop.lwc.co.uk)
  2. Customer fills in registration form which gets sent to Web Support.
  3. Web Support forwards the details to the relevant Online Champion.
  4. Online Champion contacts the customer to understand which users need access to which delivery points.
  5. Online Champion completes the Online User Access Form found here: https://forms.lwc.co.uk/onlineuseraccess which gets sent to Web Support.
  6. Web Support completes setup of the online account.

 

What happens next?

Once a customer has been setup online they will receive an activation email with a link to set a password and gain access to their online account. Getting Started guides and links to the online help centre are included in the activation email, as well as on the ‘welcome’ page after login, in the portal footer, and from the “Help” button in the bottom right corner of every page.

 

  • There will never be a need for LWC employees to login to a customer’s online account.
  • Asking a customer for their online account password is strictly prohibited as this undermines account security.
  • Customers should continue to raise online ordering related issues via the online help centre: https://help.lwc.co.uk
  • Online Champions should bookmark the Online User Access Form on their web browser for future use: https://forms.lwc.co.uk/onlineuseraccess
  • The Online User Access Form is strictly for INTERNAL USE ONLY and the link should not be shared with anyone outside of LWC.
